When you change the class of your driver’s licence, you must have the new class recorded on your licence. This can be done immediately after successfully completing the Road Test. You can book a road test online here.
Important Information:
- If the photo on your current licence is more than four years old, you will need to take a new photo.
- A vision test may be required. If you wear glasses or contacts, please bring them with you.
- You will receive a temporary licence before leaving the office, and your permanent licence will be mailed to you within approximately two weeks.
If you are upgrading to a commercial or motorcycle license, you will need to provide your knowledge test permit, any additional training certificates, and a drivers medical, if applicable.
