Motorcycle, off-highway, and commercial vehicle renewals can also be completed online.
To renew your vehicle registration, you will need:
- Proof of valid insurance
- A valid Alberta Driver’s Licence/ID Card, or a valid Canadian Passport, foreign Passport with a valid permit, Permanent Resident card, etc.
If you are renewing a registration on behalf of someone else, you will need:
- Proof of valid insurance and a copy of the registration, or
- Proof of valid insurance, an Authorization for Vehicle Services Form, and valid identification.
Fee: Varies depending on the vehicle and its use.
