All Canadian Forces Veterans are eligible for Alberta Veterans Licence Plates. Currently serving members of the armed forces are also eligible, provided they have completed a minimum of three years of service.
To apply, visit the AB/NWT Legion Command link and follow the instructions, or you can locate your nearest legion for more information. After receiving your approved application, bring it to our office, and we will issue your Veteran’s Plate immediately.
One Time Exchange Fee: $28.00 (incl GST)
If you replace your plate and renew your registration simultaneously, the Replacement Fee will be waived.
